About Brianne
Brianne Nadeau has served as our Ward 1 Councilmember since 2015 and was re-elected in 2022 with an overwhelming majority of support from Ward 1 voters. She has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to public safety, expanding affordable housing, supporting our most vulnerable residents, and improving government services.
As a mom raising her kids in Park View, Brianne understands very personally the importance of living in a safe community. Whether it’s walking to the park, going to school, or enjoying neighborhood businesses and community amenities, safety for all is one of her top priorities.
Brianne has tackled crime by introducing legislation to hire more police, help detectives solve more murders, and properly staff our 911 call center. In July, she voted for the Prioritizing Public Safety Emergency Amendment Act, which gives judges more tools to keep the most violent offenders off the streets, ensure more community-oriented policing, and provide more options for confiscating dangerous weapons.
Brianne is focused on implementing real solutions through legislation and oversight, holding criminals accountable, and preserving and building the Ward 1 community we know and love.
